Mileage Rates for the IRS

The standard mileage rates for 2024:

• 67 cents per mile for business miles
• 21 cents per mile driven for medical or moving purposes
• 14 cents per mile driven in service of charitable organizations

As an FYI, effective January 1, 2025:

• 70 cents per mile for business miles driven
• 21 cents per mile driven for medical or moving purposes
• 14 cents per mile driven in service of charitable organizations

Commuting miles are not deductible.
